One of the many things I’m enjoying about my new label home with Scottish legends Last Night From Glasgow is the shared sense of humour when the less fun side of the music industry hits you full on in your email inbox.

One such recent anecdote that label boss Ian Smith shared via their always amusing newsletter was the story of the impatient record buyer who was wondering where their CD was, a full THREE MONTHS before it was scheduled for release.

Despite polite reasoning with the said customer, he received an abrupt response demanding "JUST SEND ME THE CD DICKHEAD!" 

It got me to thinking about some of the more bizarre interactions I’ve had myself with often being at the forefront of signing and sending out The Anchoress releases.
